Having more than
20 years laboratory working experience since 1977 ranging from wet chemical and X-Ray diffraction analysis at Process Technology Department in Soroako,
South Sulawesi (1977-1980), electrochemistry studies on bright nickel deposition at the National Metallurgy Institute LIPI
Bandung (1983-1984), the in vivo studies on amino acid bio-availability of
lamtoro leguminose at Padjadjaran University (1985-1986) Bandung, research on molecular
aspects of the cellular onco-gene expressions in relation to brown fat
cells recruitment in hibernating animal at Arrhenius F3 Biology Laboratory, Stockholm University
(1988-1991), continued in cell-lines model on the search of the interplay
of supressor and activator genes in the formation of osteosarcoma at
(formerly) Tumor Biology Laboratory, Karolinska Institute (1991-1993),
Sweden, and later intensive studies on ELISA-PCR establishment by using DNA-binding domain of
c-myc protein at the Inter-University center on Biotechnology ITB, Genetic Engineering Laboratory
(1993-1995), Bandung.
On commercial science part, was initiated as a product specialist at Abbott Diagnostics
Division in Jakarta (1995-1996), later taking position as Product
Application Manager at PT. Hilab Sciencetama (1996-1998), Jakarta and finally taking responsibility as director of
PT. Sentra Biosains Dinamika Jakarta from 1998 till now. Also working as consultant for
Rajawali Hospital, Biotech Laboratory , Bandung, from 1995 till present
time.

Graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture Technology in Malang, East Java, in 1992, then continuing her study on protease gene cloning at the Microbiology and Biochemistry Laboratory, PAU Biotechnology IPB, Bogor. Appointed as assistant to the manager at PT. Hilab Sciencetama in 1997 and then an opportunity was given as technical support manager at PT. Sentra Biosains Dinamika from 1999 till now.
Having long experience in protein purification by using a sophisticated software-driven liquid chromatography systems HPLC (AKTA design) and membrane-based purifications. An intensive trainings at several workshop series in Hongkong, Singapore, and Thailand has given her capability to run protein purification (and also DNA amplification trainings) at many institutions in Bandung (ITB), Surabaya (Unair), Makassar (Unhas),
Manado (Unsrat), Bogor (IPB), Jakarta (Unika Atmajaya, BPPT, UI, BBRPPB
Ministry of Marine and Fisheries), Malang (UMM, Unibraw), Yogyakarta (UGM), and many others.

Performed bachelor studies in physics in Bandung followed by research
on opto-electronics in Osaka University of Japan. Participated in service trainings at
(formerly) Amersham Biosciences (now GE healthcare Life Sciences) and Sartorius/BBI
Malaysia, biotech division. Main concentration is on optical-electronic parts and software functions
of highly sophisticated scientific equipment such as DNA sequencer, AKTA systems, spectrophotometer, amino acid analyzer and modern
fermentor. Conducting service and engineering management of products from 2001 till now.

Elly Sudjana

Worked as chemical analyst at Mining Department
ITB, Bandung (1976-1989) at the same time continuing her education in chemistry line to full chemistry degree in
Bandung, choosing her elective research in electrochemistry and major research in actinomycetes studies in soil, completed in 1986. An opportunity was given to study cholesterol mechanism in rats at Karolinska Institute Sweden from 1990 to 1994. She then work at Rajawali Hospital in Bandung from 1995 in laboratory management till now.
PT. Sentra BD has appointed her as part-timer HRM from 2003 till now.
